MPA Research in Hawai'i:

• Carl Meyers Coral Reef Research: a study of looking at the movement of reef fish in the Waikiki Reserve
• Hawai'i Coral Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program: a state-wide monitoring program which surveys several MPAs.
• West Hawai'i Aquarium Project: focused on the impacts of aquarium fish collecting and the effectiveness of reserve design in nine new MPAs established in West Hawai'i.
